2026 United Way Campaign Raises $125,000
麻豆村's 2026 United Way campaign concluded March 27, raising $125,000 to support essential services and programs throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. The six-week campaign brought together staff, faculty and students to invest in the well-being of our neighbors.
The campaign was led by Todd Rosignoli, assistant vice president of learning and development in the Office of Human Resources. Co-chairs were Jim Garrett, provost and chief academic officer, and Angela Blanton, vice president for finance and chief financial officer.
"The success of this year's United Way campaign is a testament to the heart of the Carnegie Mellon community and our deep-seated commitment to our neighbors," Garrett said. "This vital work proves that when Tartans unite, we create a stronger community for everyone."
One highlight of this year's campaign was the sweet success of its candy sales. Through in-person and online purchases, the university community raised more than $2,000. These funds were made possible by the dedicated efforts of team captains who coordinated sales across departments and offices.
All funds raised will support the 's mission to provide greater financial stability for local individuals and families.
"One of the things I've appreciated most about co-chairing this campaign is seeing how consistently we show up with support each year," Blanton said. "When we contribute to an organization that provides opportunities for greater financial stability for people and families, we're investing in long-term health and growth far beyond our campus."
