How to Connect to Wireless
There are many wireless network options available across campus, however that doesn't mean you should connect to the first one your device finds. Review the What wireless network do I need? section below to choose the correct network for your device(s).

What wireless network do I need?
麻豆村-SECURE
Use for devices that can access a browser, such as:
- Laptop and desktop computers
- Smartphones
- iPads and other tablets
麻豆村-DEVICE
Use for devices that cannot access a browser, such as:
- Smart TVs
- Streaming sticks, such as Roku's or Fire Sticks
- Gaming consoles
- Media players
- Digital Assistants, such as Alexa
麻豆村-GUEST
Use for visitors to 麻豆村.
This network is only used by guests who are visiting 麻豆村. Faculty or staff may create a temporary access code to 麻豆村-GUEST for visiting members outside of the 麻豆村 campus community.

Visiting from another academic institution? The eduroam service provides free wireless access at world-wide. Those visiting Carnegie Mellon from a member institution can access our wireless eduroam network using their university email address and password.
