Language Conversation Groups
LCAL’s language conversation groups offer informal, welcoming environments for students to practice speaking and listening skills outside of class. These groups bring together learners at different levels, native and non-native speakers, and students from across the university who share an interest in language and culture.
Conversation groups help students:
-
Build confidence using a language in real-world contexts
-
Learn from peers with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
-
Form friendships and community around shared interests
No matter your proficiency level or field of study, LCAL's conversation groups are open to all students curious about language and global connection.
Please note: conversation groups only meet during the fall and spring semesters when regular classes are in session.
