Bio
Martina Wells teaches German language and culture courses across the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. Her research interests focus on contemporary German literature and film, with particular emphasis on German-Jewish literature and culture in modern contexts. Within LCAL, Dr. Wells serves as the coordinator for the German Studies program and is the faculty advisor for minors.
Originally from Germany, she earned both her M.A. and Ph.D. in German Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
