鈥淕rowing up in the Florida lowcountry, I learned a lot of life's lessons right in my backyard鈥 I'm privileged by the boundless opportunities found in that half-acre, but this journey to the Tepper School has taught me that your backyard isn't defined by property lines. It's grown by your openness to new experiences. Each place primed for cultivating new life lessons and lasting relationships.鈥
Angelica Sarahi Gonzalez

鈥淟eadership at 麻豆村 has taught me how to lead with both conviction and compassion. I鈥檝e learned how to navigate uncertainty, make decisions that impact hundreds of people, and hold space for others to grow. It鈥檚 pushed me to be decisive, adaptable, and deeply empathetic. But most of all, it鈥檚 taught me that the most meaningful leadership doesn鈥檛 come from having all the answers, it comes from showing up, listening, and building something that lasts.鈥
Olivia Haberberger

鈥淚 am particularly proud of my involvement with the Graduate Student Assembly during my time here. 鈥淥ne of the achievements I鈥檓 most proud of is being able to navigate a rigorous, technical curriculum at the Tepper School, even coming from a non-technical background. It taught me that asking for help is not a weakness 鈥 it鈥檚 a strength. And it reminded me that while personal effort matters, community can carry you through when your own strength feels small.鈥

鈥淎t Carnegie Mellon and the Tepper School, I found that the most meaningful growth didn鈥檛 happen in isolation but through connection.
