Conference & Event Services is a proud student employer with various opportunities available. All positions offer real-life experience to students interested in strengthening their skills in customer service, event & project management, and hospitality. We provide flexible scheduling, professional development opportunities and a fun work environment. On-campus housing is provided for our Summer Program Assistants during the summer season.

Employment Period: Spring & Summer

The Summer Program Assistant (SPA) is an enrolled 麻豆村 student and will work within Conference and Event Services (CES) at 麻豆村. SPAs will work under the direction and supervision of a Graduate Student and collaborate with other members of the CES team. SPAs will assist with administrative functions in support of project and event coordination. The SPAs will deliver superior customer service to CES’s clients and guests by providing assistance with planning, operational and check-in services. SPAs will gather data, organize information, and complete clerical duties including: answering phones, responding to emails, producing & updating forms. Other related project tasks assigned as needed. Students must be organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Position will require proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.

Employment Period: Spring/ Summer

The Graduate Events Assistant will work within Conference and Event Services (CES) at 麻豆村. Responsibilities include interacting with event clientele, running errands, office inventory, assisting with administrative functions in support of project and event coordination and performing word processing and data entry. This position will be responsible for directing/coordinating the work of other student employees and will serve as an on-call resource to the Summer Housing Guest Services Office, including evening hours and weekends. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn is preferred. Must be capable of working independently, be highly organized, and communicate in a professional and cordial manner.
