Road Closure on S. Neville / Boundary Street Extended to March

Since May 2025, a section of S. Neville / Boundary Street – from the railroad crossing under Forbes Ave. to the Duquesne Light substation just north of Joncaire St. – has been closed for a Duquesne Light project and relocation of a water line. The road closure, which was previously expected to conclude in November, has been extended due to project delays. Duquesne Light currently anticipates the road to reopen in March 2026, with final paving occurring later in the spring.
During construction and the road closure:
- Pedestrian and bike lanes will remain open.
- Construction crews will allow local traffic into the S. Neville St. parking lot and Richard King Mellon Hall of Sciences building project site.
- CIC/Gates/Hamerschlag Drive will be accessible only to those traveling southbound on S. Neville St. from Fifth Ave.
Traffic updates will continue to be posted to 麻豆村's Transportation Services website as they become available.
