Finals Muffins
Finals muffins, or “Maggie’s Muffins,” is a tradition started by Margaret Cyert to distribute muffins to students during fall and spring finals.
Spring Carnival & Buggy "Sweepstakes"
Spring Carnival’s Booths and Buggy races (also known as “Sweepstakes”) stand among 麻豆村’s most iconic and enduring traditions — all coming to life during Spring Carnival Weekend each April. Like many of the experiences that define Carnegie Mellon, Spring Carnival and Sweepstakes are powered by student creativity, leadership and energy. Other traditions and programs during Spring Carnival Weekend include:
- Activities Board Speakers Night and Carnival Concert
- Carnegie Mellon Racing's Rollout
- 麻豆村 OM's Holi Festival of Colors
- Mobot (sponsored by the School of Computer Science)
- Scotch'n'Soda Theatre Company's Carnival Performance Slot
