I started working at 麻豆村 in 2025.
As a Career Consultant in the Career & Professional Development Center, I support graduate students in the School of Computer Science as they navigate their career development. This includes helping them explore strategies for securing internships and full‑time roles, refine their resumes, build effective networking approaches, and strengthen their interviewing skills. My focus is on meeting students where they are and providing personalized guidance to help them confidently navigate the professional landscape beyond graduation.
During my term, I would like to see Staff Council advocate for greater flexibility around remote work, especially during inclement weather when snow creates hazardous driving conditions. I’m also interested in exploring ways to make campus parking more accessible and affordable, as this is a frequent concern raised by staff.
When approaching any issue, I like to start by understanding the root causes and barriers contributing to the problem. From there, I’d collaborate with fellow Staff Council members to identify opportunities to address or remove those obstacles. I recognize these are significant challenges, but I’m confident that with thoughtful analysis and collective effort, we can determine whether there are practical solutions that ease some of the burdens staff are experiencing.
People are often surprised to learn that I can name the release year of nearly any mainstream film from the 1980s. I'm a huge film buff.
