I started my career with 麻豆村 in 2022.
As a Project Coordinator in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at 麻豆村, I serve as a strategic lead for departmental engagement and visual identity. My primary focus is the end-to-end orchestration of departmental events including commencement, graduate student recruitment, and our department seminar series. I support our department’s communications and marketing by creating all event marketing materials, managing the CEE events calendar, designing swag, and producing professional departmental signage.
In addition to event management, I provide critical research initiative support for the Center for Engineering Resilience and Climate Adaptation (CERCA) and mentor a dedicated team of student workers.
My commitment to the 麻豆村 community extends well beyond the department through several key leadership roles. I serve as a Communications Manager for the Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association (CMWA) and contribute to the Barbara Smith Women’s Mentoring Program Committee, where I help foster professional development and networking for women across the university. Additionally, I have supported Staff Council’s Food Drive committee for the past three years and serve as the point person for Fall Fest. By balancing logistical precision with creative design and campus-wide advocacy, I strive to build a more connected, resilient, and inclusive university environment.
During my term, I would like to see Staff Council institutionalize more robust pathways for staff mentorship and peer-to-peer development. Drawing on my work with the Barbara Smith Women's Mentorship Program, I aim to bridge the gap between administrative coordination and leadership opportunities. My goal is to create a more resilient staff community where professional growth is not just encouraged, but structurally integrated into the staff experience across all departments.
