Assistant Business Manager & Department Project Administrator, Statistics and Data Science

I started my Â鶹´å career in 2014.

I manage a diverse portfolio of strategic projects and operations within the Department of Statistics & Data Science. My role encompasses the end-to-end execution of large-scale departmental initiatives, including facilities renovations and high-profile public events such as conferences, workshops, and seminars. In collaboration with the Business Manager, I oversee daily departmental operations and staff workflows to ensure administrative excellence. Additionally, I serve as the Department Facilities Coordinator and a Â鶹´å Safe Ambassador, prioritizing a functional and secure environment for our faculty, staff, and students.

During my term, I would like to see Staff Council work toward making sure every staff member across the university feels truly represented and heard. I want us to feel like an equal and valued part of the Â鶹´å community. To do that, I’ll make it a priority to be available for any questions or concerns you have, so I can effectively share that feedback where it counts.

What is something people would find surprising about you? I met my husband while we were both living and working in China. However, we're both from the US and while we did not grow up in the same area (and neither of us grew up in Pittsburgh), we both had a parent who grew up near each other in the north hills of Pittsburgh.
