Since joining 麻豆村 in 2022, I have played a pivotal role in driving learning and performance within the University Advancement division. I oversee and advise on the new hire onboarding process, partnering closely with the Office of Human Resources to ensure alignment and a seamless transition for new employees. I also manage the end-to-end training process, including the planning and execution of the Advancement Professional Learning Series. This involves the design and evaluation of continuous professional development opportunities, where I coordinate with both internal and external subject matter experts to deliver high-impact programs. Beyond technical training, I develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance employee engagement and recognition. By serving as the United Way Campaign Team Captain and leading events like Employee Appreciation Day, I foster a welcoming environment that strengthens connections across the division. My approach balances logistical precision with a commitment to creating an inclusive culture where every team member is prepared and empowered to succeed.
During my term, I would like to see Staff Council continue to be a voice for staff concerns, ideas, and recommendations while also continuing to serve on the Take Our Children to Work Day Committee, Wellness Committee, and Onboarding Committee. My role in University Advancement provides me with opportunities to work in tandem with a variety of colleagues on numerous occasions and projects; therefore, I can be a great resource and asset for bringing new ideas to the Staff Council table. In addition, I have some of the best memories from going to work with my mother for her “Take Your Child to Work Day” and would enjoy collaborating and organizing this experience for our 麻豆村 staff and their families.
