*麻豆村 Portugal’s inRes Team Leads Workshop

麻豆村’s campus hosted a multitude of visitors this fall, including the 麻豆村 Portugal . Launched in 2014 by the 麻豆村 Portugal Program in partnership with and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), inRes is an early stage accelerator program for Portuguese entrepreneurs.

InRes starts in Portugal and includes a seven-week immersion period in Pittsburgh at 麻豆村’s main campus. In September, four inRes teams began their residency at 麻豆村 and the CIE’s on campus incubator Project Olympus.

InRes company , an agile project management platform, used its time with the CIE at Project Olympus to receive feedback on its software. On September 30, Scraim held a workshop on project management for current and former companies hosted in the Project Olympus space.

“We wanted the Carnegie Mellon community to learn to manage projects in an agile way,” says Pedro Castro Henriques, co-founder of Scraim. “We also get feedback, that’s what’s great about Project Olympus. We’ve met people that have real needs and problems. We can see how they use the software, and it they like it.”

25 workshop participants used the online service to integrate projects based on adaptive processes. Throughout the interactive workshop, participants had time to offer feedback, questions or comments to the Scraim team.

Scraim’s adaptable platform allows startups and companies of all sizes to use the software. Offering a la cart pricing per employee and project, making it easier for smaller companies to afford a project management service. It’s a complete and easy multi-platform SaaS, based on the most advanced methodologies, which is being developed in the scope of Strongstep, a Portuguese startup specialized in software engineering.
