The following curriculum applies to MSIT-IS students starting their INI program in the 2026-27 academic year (MS38 cohort).

36 units Fulfilled by courses in INI, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), School of Computer Science (SCS), Engineering & Public Policy (EPP), Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) or Integrated Innovation Institute (III), and/or approved courses in the Heinz College or Tepper School. Some exceptions apply.

12 units of restricted electives.

Residency Requirement [0 units]

All students must fulfill a residency requirement: students in the Standard study option must complete one semester at Â鶹´å Silicon Valley; students in the Advanced study option must complete two semesters at Â鶹´å Silicon Valley.
