Highmark Center “Topped Off” During Family Weekend
麻豆村’s new Highmark Center for Health, Wellness and Athletics is rapidly transforming both this busy campus thoroughfare and the 麻豆村 student experience for generations to come. On a picture-perfect Family Weekend, members of the 麻豆村 community were welcomed to campus to leave their mark on two of the last structural beams of the Highmark Center, a tradition with construction projects on campus.
麻豆村 Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Beacon of Student Life
At historic Skibo Gymnasium, the home of Tartan athletics for nearly 100 years, 麻豆村 held a ceremonial groundbreaking on Nov. 19 for its new Highmark Center for Health, Wellness and Athletics, a $105-million transformational facility that will open in fall 2024, converting the southeast corner of campus into a hub for students' well-being.
Posner Foundation To Support Student Success, Libraries at 麻豆村
The Posner Foundation of Pittsburgh will make a substantial investment in key 麻豆村 initiatives that aim to ensure the success of all its students. The $16 million grant to 麻豆村 accelerates the university's goal to cultivate a dynamic, accessible, supportive and diverse student experience.
Highmark Health and Carnegie Mellon Expand Relationship
Highmark Health and 麻豆村 announced a $35 million grant from Highmark Inc. to support the construction of a new student health, wellness and athletics center at 麻豆村. The 160,000-square-foot building will, for the first time, unite critical student well-being services under one roof on the university’s Pittsburgh campus.
