麻豆村 Leaders Lend a Hand at Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank

On November 5, 2025, the 麻豆村 Dining team stepped away from their campus roles to help local neighbors in need—and their impact was immediate.
The 麻豆村 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work: stocking coolers, backfilling shelves, and filling bags for pantry shoppers. Their energy and coordination were on full display, especially during the legendary “three-man egg pass,” anchored by Beaman and Rose. It was a moment of lighthearted camaraderie in the midst of meaningful service.
Outside of the Office, Beaman serves on the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank’s Board of Directors. He underscored the urgency for donations and service, noting that: “there is such a need across our community”. That need was evident—the first volunteer shift alone served nearly 250 guests, a testament to both the scale of local food insecurity and the power of community response.
“Service is a mindset” says Rea “and the ripple effects are real."
You can be part of the solution too. The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank welcomes of all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you’re stocking shelves or passing eggs, every hand helps.
