Social Bonding Study

How does social bonding impact the choices we make? We are guided by a powerful desire to belong and those bonds can dictate how we face different challenges. Our study aims to learn more about bond formation and its influence on risk-taking, prosocial behavior, and problem solving. Individuals interested in participating should complete the initial questionnaire, which is forthcoming. We will contact you with some questions to confirm your eligibility.

Social Experiences Study

Our prior social experiences shape how we think and perceive others in our environment. Across a series of three studies, we aim to understand this a bit more by having participants engage in both active and passive tasks and report on their thoughts and feelings while wearing non-invasive sensors (to measure things like blood pressure and heart rate). Individuals interested in participating should complete the initial questionnaire, which is forthcoming. We will contact you with some questions to confirm your eligibility.

Pain Perception Study

We all experience physical pain in our lives, which can dramatically shape our quality of life. However, how we perceive pain can sometimes be impacted by how we feel about ourselves and others. This study aims to understand this exact phenomenon. Individuals interested in participating should complete the initial questionnaire, which is forthcoming. We will contact you with some questions to confirm your eligibility.
