We’ve all been there: adolescence. For many of us, including Yulin Kuang, it’s a “total lack of coolness” phase. Instead of cringing at those memories, Kuang (DC’12) turned them into a coming-of-age comedic screenplay titled, “The Perils of Growing up Flat-Chested.” It won the $15,000 in the Steeltown Film Factory contest, which is held to nurture and encourage filmmakers in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Kuang will use the prize money to produce her short film.
