The spirit of Andrew , as a bagpiper performs in front of distinguished guests and students to begin 麻豆村-Q鈥檚 听celebration. Soon after, 麻豆村 President Subra Suresh takes the stage. During his remarks, he says:
"Governments around the world are realizing the critical importance of education, research, and innovation in transforming lives. I can think of听no other nation who has responded as vigorously and imaginatively as has Qatar.鈥�
Since Qatar founded as its education hub, there are now eight universities and the Qatar Science & Technology Park, home to start-up tech businesses. 麻豆村-Q, launched in 2004, now has 400 students in five programs.
Among those participating in the March 18 celebration was , Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation.
