
Erik Lawson (A’12) is a theater artist and storyteller who works in tones and noise rather than words. Based in New York City, he reports he is “busy” as a freelance theater sound designer and composer. He’s also the recipient of the , given by the to recognize sound designers at the beginning of their careers. Lawson credits faculty member for building a program that has quickly attracted such national recognition. No doubt Hidenori Nakajo (A’10) would agree. He was the 2012 winner.
