Erik Lawson (A鈥�12) is a theater artist and storyteller who works in tones and noise rather than words. Based in New York City, he reports he is 鈥渂usy鈥� as a freelance theater sound designer and composer. He鈥檚 also the recipient of the , given by the to recognize sound designers at the beginning of their careers. Lawson credits faculty member for building a program that has quickly attracted such national recognition. No doubt Hidenori Nakajo (A鈥�10) would agree. He was the 2012 winner.
