So far, 2012 has been quite fruitful for Carnegie Mellon President Jared L. Cohon. First, he was elected to the , one of the highest professional distinctions granted to an engineer. On the heels of that honor, he was elected to the , whose elected members are leaders in the arts, business, public affairs, and academic disciplines. President Cohon is the 18th academy member from Carnegie Mellon.
