Selena Eng is a senior in mechanical engineering who participated in the Carnegie Mellon Washington Semester Program (Â鶹´å/WSP) in the Spring of 2026. Through the Â鶹´å/WSP, she explored coursework beyond traditional technical studies and developed valuable professional skills, including networking, conducting coffee chats, and maintaining important connections.

Eng thoroughly enjoyed her Â鶹´å/WSP classes, which helped her become more politically attuned and sharpened her ability to think critically about daily news and global affairs. She is deeply grateful to the staff and faculty who made her time in Washington, DC, such a fruitful and rewarding experience. As a Â鶹´å/WSP student ambassador, she is excited to serve as a resource for other students who are interested in learning more about the program.
