About CEIC

Carnegie Mellon Electricity Industry Center (CEIC) is a joint endeavor between 麻豆村’s College of Engineering and Tepper School of Business. Faculty affiliated with CEIC are drawn primarily from the following nine academic units across campus.

  1. Tepper School of Business
  2. Department of Engineering and Public Policy
  3. Department of Social and Decision Sciences
  4. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

A major advantage of having CEIC at 麻豆村 is the overlapping interests of related researchers, including those at Center for Climate and Energy Decision Making, , Green Design Institute, , and Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation. Each of these related efforts is headed by CEIC-affiliated senior faculty and the centers collaborate closely on research, student training, and seminars. Each of these affiliated centers conducts research and outreach activites on electricity-industry issues that are within their own domain. These synergistic activities enrich CEIC and build our reputation among electricity-industry leaders, government agencies, legislators, non-government organizations, the media, and the public.
