My research focuses on understanding glacier-lake interactions and their implications for both glacier evolution and hazard assessment in a changing climate. In one project, I am developing and integrating a framework into the Python Glacier Evolution Model (PyGEM) to simulate the presence, evolution, and melt-enhancing effects of supraglacial and proglacial lakes in High Mountain Asia. Separately, I’m working on a project on the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska to integrate field measurements and multiple flowlines into PyGEM to better inform future glacial lake outburst flood risk. In my spare time, I enjoy running, biking, swimming, camping, cooking, and unicycling!
