Burton Hollifield Named Director of the PNC Center
, will serve as the new Director of the PNC Center for Financial Services Innovation, beginning October 3.
Hollifield has been a member of the Tepper School faculty since 1998, teaching financial economics at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. His research focuses on market microstructure, asset pricing, financial intermediation, and empirical methods.
He previously served as Head of the Undergraduate Business Administration Program, where he provided strategic direction and helped implement key curricular innovations that strengthened the student experience. His leadership in both research and education has made a lasting impact across the Tepper community.
Hollifield steps into the director role following who led the Center with dedication and vision. Montgomery will continue his work at the Tepper School, focusing more deeply on his research.
Hollifield is eager to build on this strong foundation and further expand the Center’s reach and impact across the academic and financial communities. Faculty and researchers are encouraged to connect with him to explore potential collaborations and ideas related to the Center’s mission.
