Undergraduate Student Senate
What is Senate?
The Carnegie Mellon Undergraduate Student Senate is the undergraduate component of Carnegie Mellon's Student Government Legislative Branch. We are composed of student-elected representatives that represent our university.
Representatives from each college meet weekly to discuss issues on campus. General Body Meetings are OPEN to everyone, at UC Danforth (Cohon University Center) at 5:20-6:30 pm each Thursday. If you are more interested in a specific aspect of student life, there are six committees: Academic Affairs, Advocacy, Business Affairs, Campus Life, Finance, Operations. The public may listen in on a committee meeting.
