MOSAIC Conference

MOSAIC is an opportunity to galvanize efforts around diversity, equity and inclusion in Pittsburgh that are occurring inside and outside of the classroom setting. We aim to advance the conversation and provide a platform to uplift the voices and resources within this work. Carnegie Mellon strives to be an example of a university that creates brave spaces to engage in critical dialogue, and MOSAIC is a poignant example of this.

This conference is free and open to the public and includes:

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Coffee, tea and dessert reception
  • Keynote speaker
  • Conference workshops that focus on topics ranging from cultural identity, disability, safe spaces for Black women, veteran status, to equity and autonomous vehicles.

The conference  will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at in the Cohon University Cener at 麻豆村 from 9 am to 3:30 pm with a reception to follow from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion (Cohon Center LL75).
