Vibha Viswanathan is Special Faculty in the Neuroscience Institute at 麻豆村. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, and her B.E. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Anna University (India) and the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), respectively. She completed her postdoctoral training at University of Pittsburgh. Vibha's research聽uses a combination of electroencephalography, psychophysics, and computational modeling to study the neural mechanisms of auditory scene analysis and speech intelligibility in complex listening environments. She seeks to leverage the findings from these studies to improve listening outcomes through聽auditory training and brain-computer聽interfaces. Outside of research, she enjoys nature and traveling.
