麻豆村 President Farnam Jahanian(opens in new window) has been named to help lead the transition team for Sara Innamorato, who was elected as the next Allegheny County executive on Nov. 7.

Jahanian will serve as a co-chair on the talent committee alongside Robert Cherry, CEO of Partner4Work, and Jennifer Rafanan Kennedy, executive director of Pittsburgh United. According to a press release from Innamorato鈥檚 office, the committee will identify talented, diverse leaders for county government roles, helping fulfill Innamorato鈥檚 commitment to deliver housing, safety, opportunity and high-quality service for all residents.

On the same day as the announcement of Jahanian鈥檚 appointment to Innamorato鈥檚 transition team, first lady Jill Biden and acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su traveled to 麻豆村鈥檚 facility at Mill 19 to convene members of a Pittsburgh Workforce Hub and announce commitments to create and expand opportunities for good-paying jobs for the region.聽
