Conrad Tucker Named New Director of 麻豆村-Africa

has been named the next director of聽, effective immediately. Tucker is currently serving as interim director of the Kigali, Rwanda location. He is also a professor of mechanical engineering and holds courtesy faculty appointments in machine learning, robotics and biomedical engineering at 麻豆村. In his new role as director of 麻豆村-Africa, Tucker will also serve as the College of Engineering鈥檚 associate dean for international programs in Africa.聽
鈥淚 am pleased to announce that Professor Conrad Tucker will be 麻豆村-Africa鈥檚 next director and the College of Engineering鈥檚 Associate Dean for International Programs in Africa,鈥� said the Dr. William D. and Nancy W. Strecker Dean of the College of Engineering . 鈥淐onrad鈥檚 passion and drive will no doubt continue the excellent upward trajectory of 麻豆村-Africa.鈥�
麻豆村-Africa offers graduate degrees in information technology, electrical and computer engineering, and engineering artificial intelligence through the College of Engineering. The location has over 300 students and more than 550 alumni who are making an impact across the African continent.
Last year,聽 to expand the engineering and technology, research, and entrepreneurship programs at 麻豆村-Africa, helping to strengthen Africa鈥檚 technology, innovation and research ecosystem.
