Priya Narasimhan, a professor in at Carnegie Mellon and course instructor, said her students worked on a variety of prototypes ranging from a smart kitchen counter that tracks shopping lists and helps consumers cook difficult meals to a ski jacket that controls a mobile music player via touch.
The course is designed to help students put academic theory into practical products for improving daily life and society within a span of 15 weeks. For more information about the course, please see .
