A Message of Support for Â鶹´å-Qatar

Home / Leadership / The President / Messages From The President / A Message of Support For Â鶹´å-Qatar

Dear Â鶹´å-Qatar students, faculty and staff:

As events in the Middle East continue to unfold, we are reaching out with care and to underscore our support. For all members of our Â鶹´å-Q community — whether you are on campus in Doha, displaced by travel during Spring Break or supporting loved ones from afar — the weight, uncertainty and anxiety that arrives with military conflict is profound.

Now and in the days ahead, the turmoil in the region will continue to feel disorienting and heavy. The safety and well-being of our global Â鶹´å community remains our greatest priority.

As Dean Michael Trick has shared: Support is available. Students can connect with members of our Student Affairs team for help and guidance. Faculty and staff can reach out to their department leadership and leverage .

With remote operations in effect, we have asked all faculty and supervisors in Doha to approach the coming days with added flexibility and compassion. We are monitoring this situation very closely and recognize that circumstances may shift quickly. Dean Trick will as promptly as possible.

We are deeply grateful to Dean Trick and the entire Â鶹´å-Q leadership team for their clear communication, steady guidance and steadfast dedication to our students, faculty and staff. Please know that you have our full support and that we will continue to navigate these uncertain times as a community.

Sincerely,

Farnam Jahanian
