Graduate Orientation Canvas Course & Registration Reminder
Dear Incoming Graduate Students,
We hope this email finds you well and excited for the upcoming orientation on Thursday, January 8, 2026! Orientation will take place in-person, on the Pittsburgh campus. Please be sure to indicate your intention to attend using .
Following this email, we will share the Spring 2026 Graduate Orientation Canvas course with all incoming master’s and doctoral students. You will receive an email inviting you to join the course. This course contains information about university resources relating to academics, health and well-being, finances, life at 麻豆村, safety, and much more. It also includes the schedule for University-Wide New Graduate Student Orientation. Please take time to read through the course carefully, as you will find this information helpful when you begin your studies at Carnegie Mellon.
The Canvas course also contains three required asynchronous modules that should be completed as soon as possible, and before the start of the semester:
- Intercultural & Global Literacy (IGL)
- Healthy Relationships
- Academic Integrity: The Carnegie Mellon Code
