Congratulations, once again, on your plans to join the Tartan community! We are excited to welcome you as you begin your graduate studies at 麻豆村 this spring. As the spring semester approaches, we would like to draw your attention to important information and actions.
Register for the Pre-Arrival Webinar
We would like to remind you about the upcoming Pre-Arrival Webinar, “Preparing for Arrival & Finalizing the Basics,” which will take place on Monday, December 15, at 7:15 p.m. ET. You can register for the webinar , and a Zoom link will be emailed to you (check your spam folder!).
Full Schedule for University-Wide New Graduate Student Orientation
As previously communicated, the University-Wide New Graduate Student Orientation will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Orientation programming will begin at 12:30 p.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m., and the full schedule of events--which includes a variety of opportunities for you to interact with the Carnegie Mellon community--is now posted on our website.

We hope you can join us for Orientation and request that you please indicate your availability and intention to attend by completing . While attendance at Orientation is highly encouraged, it is not mandatory.
