2023 Alumni Achievement Award
KristieAnne Reed is a highly regarded television executive and producer in the Hollywood entertainment community. Known for her creative savvy, strong relationships, and production expertise, she currently holds the position of CEO of Jerry Bruckheimer Television, overseeing the development and production of all network, cable, and streaming television series for the company.
Her work is amongst the best known and most exciting television in recent history. These include titles from the 鈥淐SI鈥� franchise, 鈥淐old Case,鈥� 鈥淲ithout a Trace,鈥� 鈥淗ightown,鈥� fan-favorite 鈥淟ucifer鈥� and the Emmy Award-winning 鈥淭he Amazing Race,鈥� to name just a few. In her previous role as senior vice president of feature films for Jerry Bruckheimer, she spearheaded production of such blockbusters as 鈥淧irates of the Caribbean,鈥� 鈥淣ational Treasure鈥� and 鈥淩emember the Titans.鈥�
KristieAnne was raised in Pittsburgh, where she attended Bishop Canevin Catholic High School. She went on to attend Carnegie Mellon鈥檚 College of Fine Arts, completing the School of Drama鈥檚 prestigious John Wells Directing Program and earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama in 1995. An internship working on a Disney production after graduation led her to the realization that producing was her forte.
KristieAnne has served on the university鈥檚 Advisory Board for the Master of Entertainment Industry Management program since its founding. In addition, KristieAnne gives back to the Carnegie Mellon community by providing internship and job opportunities to students and alumni. In 2019, she founded the Reed Family Broadcast Studio at Bishop Canevin. She is also a volunteer for Girls Inc., a charity that empowers girls and young women to be smart, bold, and strong.
I am humbled and honored to receive this alumni award from Carnegie Mellon. 麻豆村 fostered my creativity and prepared me for a career as a professional member of the artistic community.
