How long have you been at 麻豆村 and how did you get here? What (if any) other roles have you had at 麻豆村? What did you do before coming to 麻豆村?

I started at 麻豆村 in December 2023. Prior to joining 麻豆村, I worked in Student Affairs, specifically Residence Life and Career Development. I enjoy getting to know students and supporting them throughout their college experience.听

What was your undergraduate major? How did you end up deciding on it?

My undergraduate major was Psychology. I chose Psychology after taking a Health Psychology course and fell in love with the field. I had a really wonderful experience and met friends that I still have to this day.

What is a fun or surprising fact about yourself?

I am a black belt in the Isshinryu style of karate. I started when I was 10 years old. My interest in education stemmed from my experience teaching karate

When was a time when you struggled or encountered a setback? How did you respond?

Being tasked with managing a chronic illness was certainly a struggle. However, I trusted my ability to find answers and became my own advocate. I found the best doctors and read every journal article I could find. I have also created a network of support for people with my condition and share my experience to help them navigate the healthcare system.听听
