Bio
Kevin González is an accomplished writer and educator, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has been teaching in the Creative Writing Program at Carnegie Mellon since 2013 and has received numerous fellowships from prestigious organizations. His memoir, Juracán, is set to be published by Pantheon Books in English and by Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial in Spanish. González's stories and novellas have appeared in notable publications such as Ploughshares, Narrative, and Virginia Quarterly Review. He is also the author of a collection of poetry, Cultural Studies, and co-editor of The New Census: An Anthology of Contemporary American Poetry.
