Three First-Year Masters Students Inducted into Â鶹´å Rales Fellows Cohort
Â鶹´å proudly welcomed the second cohort of Rales Fellows during an induction ceremony held on Thursday, September 30. Among the 34 outstanding graduate students recognized were Meilin Scott, Bethany Vazquez Smith, and Noemi Banda — all first-year master students representing the Ray and Stephanie Lane Computational Biology Department.
Meilin Scott is currently pursuing her M.S. in Automated Science: Biological Experimentation. Bethany Vazquez Smith and Noemi Banda are both enrolled in the M.S. in Computational Biology program
The Rales Fellows Program, launched in partnership with the Norman R. and Ruth Rales Foundation, is part of Â鶹´å’s broader commitment to increasing access, equity, and opportunity in STEM graduate education.
